Riesling Nectarine Berry Ice
(From Cooking With Riesling)
Ingredients:
3/4 cup Harmony White Riesling
5 fresh nectarines
1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
Directions:
- Wash and peel nectarines. Puree in a food processor.
- Wash berries and puree in a food processor.
- In a large bowl, combine Riesling wine and pureed fruit; stir together.
- Freeze in a freezer container or in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
- Thirty minutes before serving, process fruit ice in food processor then refreeze.
- To serve, spoon ice into individual bowls. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and serve with sugar cookies.
