Harmony Cellars' Port Chops 

Recipe from Harmony Cellars

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon butter,
4 boneless pork chops
Salt and Pepper
Olive Oil
3 tablespoons shallots, diced
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1/3 cup Harmony Cellars' Port
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegard
1/2 cup currant preserves

Directions:

Melt butter in skillet. Salt and pepper both side of pork chops. Cook pork 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Set pork chops aside and keep them warm. Coat pan with Olive Oil. Add shallots and garlic and cook for about a minute.  Add port and vinegar and cook for another minute. Stir in currant preserves and cook for 30 seconds. Put the pork back in the pan and cook an additional minute. This recipe is perfect with rice pilaf, sauteed green beans, and a glass of Harmony Cellars red wine.
